Microlearning is the structuring of a course into short training units
Microlearning is also called
"Bite-Size Learning", i.e. training that is done in small bites
Focus on Micro Content
Microlearning allows me to: enter a course, view a training module, learn, exit.
enter the course
view a training module
learn
go out
It is not a training with a path from A to Z: this allows me to use it as a work tool and not as a classic training.
THE OBJECTIVE OF MICROLEARNING
is to create that state of training called “LEARNING ON THE GO“, learning on the move. Clearly the new generations, the millennials, are extremely used to this type of training, watching a tutorial for a few minutes online on the most common video platforms and then going out.
TRAINING WHEN YOU NEED IT AND WHERE YOU NEED IT
…whether it’s at work in an industrial setting in front of an industrial machine, rather than in a commercial setting, before a sale while I’m in the car and I need to review the characteristics of a product or in any case what I need.
