Since 1961, for more than 50 years, IMA has been producing automatic machines for the processing and packaging of pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food, tea and coffee products.
Its leadership position is the result of significant investments in Research and Development, of constant and constructive dialogue with end users in the reference sectors and of the Group's ability to internationalize, conquering new markets.
The ILIAS e-learning platform
IMA Group analyzed the various LMS platforms on the market, identifying ILIAS as the most complete and suitable for their needs.
IMA's important organizational structure led us to recommend and structure a redundant installation on Microsoft Azure servers for rapid worldwide access to content, integration of the platform with company systems and the creation of differentiated content depending on the needs of the various divisions.
Starting from a pilot project for 2 divisions we now have an installation that manages 8 active divisions, all structured with differentiated local roles depending on the installation you want to manage or simply attend online. This means that users can access different divisions with different roles depending on the area in which they need to move.
There are 3 roles for each division: Admin, Editor and Viewer. Naturally Admin is the highest level, Editor can create and delete contents (excluding structural ones), and Viewer with the possibility of only visibility of contents.
And it is precisely this level of functionality of Roles that makes ILIAS a particularly high-performance platform for multinationals: because it allows for flexibility and structuring of roles and permissions that has no equal.
